Starlit Sky - Shaun Davey

Composed 2010, this song is based on words translated from Stelele'n cer, by Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu (1950-1889). Underlying the poetry of Eminescu is an awareness of how precious is our time on Earth. The three verses are interspersed with 'Gloria' choruses which build to a powerful climax at the end. Although arranged for full orchestra and soloists it can be performed by choir and organ.
